Okay, my mind was just blown by something my critique partner and fellow Doctor Who enthusiast, Susan Carroll, revealed to me today. Seriously. It freaked me out so much it compelled me to write this post. I still can't believe it.

But before I share this mind-blowing thing with you, I must freak you out visually. Here are some photos of dolls I saw I recently saw at a thrift store. You think my doll face is creepy? Well, look at these and weep. Seriously. Some are scary enough to make you cry.

Okay, now I am done. It's time to freak out your mind. If you're not into Doctor Who, just stop now. If you are though, read on.

Peter Capaldi, who was recently tapped as the next Doctor Who, is in the zombie film World War Z which is playing in theaters now. He plays a doctor for the World Health Organization. You heard me. The World Health Organization. WHO. He plays a doctor for WHO.

Doctor Who!

And the film was shot long before the decision was made to cast him. Oh. My. God. That blows my mind.

Freaky, huh? I don't know what to say from here so I'll justend with something I made for The Thick of It fans. Sorry to be such a potty mouth but...well, you know. ;)

Yikes, that blonde doll is super-creepy, like the one from Rod Serling's Night Gallery. What a fun shopping experience, though! I do not know the first thing about Dr. Who, but that is certainly a strange coincidence that Peter Capaldi's role in World War Z is as a doctor for the WHO.

That's the doll that freaked me out the most. I should have photographed her when she was lying down. She had the full methed out lazy eyes thing going on. As for Peter Capaldi, my mind is still blown. What a strange coincidence!

Dolls like these could be a reason why I preferred playing with dinosaurs as a kid.

Janene, I'm stumped on this one. I have no idea who Dr. Who is. But those are some freaky looking dolls. The parent who brought one of those home to a child could definitely be arrested for child abuse.

Hi there :) even though I left BC in a masochistic way i kept going back to see if there was anything posted by other users, so i read your comment. What I have to say is that sometimes you have to suck it up and do something good for others even if it's not something you're usually comfortable with.

As for these dolls, they look really creepy to me and indeed buying them and bringing them home is child abuse.

when i said about the sucking up thing i meant you not liking Disqus :) you have no idea what that thing would do to your blog, from my experience it generated comments not only for my blog but for others' blogs as well, and it's easy to keep in touch, something i can't say about traditional commenting system, document yourself, don't take my word for it :)

I thought dolls are for kids to make them feel good and loved! My goodness these stuff will freak them out.. I think these dolls are helpful to parents who want to make their child go to sleep without any bed time stories.. :p
