I know, I know. It’s been a long time since my last blog post and for that I am sorry. Since then, there have nine full moons, eight federal holidays and at least three musical attempts to bring bootie back.
So why so long? Well, a couple reasons. First off, I started working as a substitute teacher, something I'm absolutely loving. So far it’s been a success, thanks to the all of the advice I’ve been given. I always wear comfy shoes. I try to be firm but kind and, when erasing the whiteboard, use vertical strokes instead of horizontal so my butt doesn’t wiggle. I also stamped my pencils the same way my mom used to when she taught high school and am pleased to say I’ve lost only one so far.
