ENLIGHTENED: LIGHT VS. DARK

EXTRA INFO
ATTENTION: This is a page for people who have already read Enlightened: Light vs. Dark. If you haven't read it and want to, click here for more information. However, if you have read Enlightened, you are in the right place! There's not much here yet. I just finished the book! But I do have some discussion questions. I also have the answer to the question I've been getting the most:
Will there be another book?
Yep! I had always intended for the Light vs. Dark series to be a trilogy. So look forward to another book following Alina on her journey as she finally embraces her role as the Fair One. It will be interesting to see how Alina, Harley and Darryn do now that they're a team.
Do you have any discussion questions?
I do have a few listed below, plus a lot of good ones posted on Extraordinary's page that still apply. If you have any questions of your own, let me know! Just click the "Contact Me" button along the left-hand side of this page. I'd love to hear from you.

ENLIGHTENED: Light vs. Dark
Discussion Questions/Points to Ponder
Discussion Questions/Points to Ponder
In the book, Alina discovers that The Light and, more importantly, its leaders aren't what they first seemed to be. Darryn discovers the same about The Dark. Can you think of any groups which have rulers who might think differently than those they lead? If so, why do you think they are that way? How might they be helping or harming those that they represent?
In what ways are The Light and The Dark leaders different? In what ways are they the same?
Trace has a strong desire to be great, something that seems to affect his desire to be good. Is there a difference? How might one affect the other? Which would you rather be, good or great? Why?
Eye flame plays an interesting role in this book. Some, like Raynor and Harley, think it's sacred. Others, like Dr. Argent, do not. How do their beliefs affect their actions and they way they view each other? Can you think of any parallels to it in the real world?
Do you know anyone like Claire? What's the best way to deal with people like her? Do you think Alina did a good job?
Darryn discovered a lot of hidden truths about himself, forcing him to question everything. Have you ever leaned a secret so big it changed the way you thought about something or someone? How did it affect you? Would it have been easier or harder if you hadn't learned the truth? If it was harder, are you still glad you learned it?
A villain often thinks of themselves as the hero of their own story. Do you think the "bad guys" in the book felt that way? What about you? Did you think they were all bad, or could you understand where some of them were coming from? If you could, what would you have done differently if you'd been in their shoes?
